What to do after

Crime Reporting & Legal Support

If you are the victim of a crime, it is important that you report it to law enforcement so that they are aware of what happened and can possibly stop it from happening to others by apprehending the perpetrator(s). Some cases, such as hate crimes, may require legal support. 

Asian Law Alliance

Description: Advise or assist AAPI victims of verbal/physical attacks on reporting incidents, provide legal options, and mental health referrals.

Stand Against Hatred

Description: Provide free legal help to low-income community members and resources to help communities understand their rights. We offer free legal consultation and, in some cases, representation to community members on immigration matters, housing, workers' rights, and civil and constitutional rights, including unjust surveillance, profiling, and police misconduct.

Coalition for Community Safety and Justice (CCSJ)

Description: Assist API victims and survivors of crime by connecting them to services to aid in the healing and long-term recovery process.
